Winter tires are made of a softer rubber compound which helps go through the snow, and sticks better to ice. On summer and all season tires, the rubber gets cold and hard, and “skates” on top of ice, much like the soles of running shoes, compared to warm rubber boots.

We sell many brands of winter tires and would be happy to recommend a brand most suitable to your driving habits and car.
